About Professor Sunny Lee:

Professor Sunny Lee, BBS, JP, is a distinguished figure with over 40 years of experience in business and technology management. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of the Hong Kong Applied Science & Technology Research Institute (ASTRI). Professor Lee is also an Independent Non-Executive Director of MTR Corporation Limited, BOC Hong Kong (Holdings) Limited, and SUNeVision Holdings Limited. Additionally, he is a School Committee Member of Diocesan Boys’ School and a Governor of the Canadian International School.

Professor Lee holds the position of Adjunct Professor and Senior Director, Office of the President at City University of Hong Kong. His previous roles include Vice President at CityUHK, Executive Director of IT for The Hong Kong Jockey Club, and Chief Information Officer of Hong Kong and China Gas Limited. He has also held key technology positions in the financial, management consulting, and manufacturing industries in Hong Kong and the US. Professor Lee is a graduate of Cornell University, where he earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Engineering.
