Annual General Meeting & Dinner

The DSOBA Ltd. Annual General Meeting was held on 3 May 2006 at the the Chinese Club. The AGM Dinner was held immediately following the AGM. This was a good opportunity for all members to get together for fellowship in a casual setting.

On Feb 23, 2007, our Old Boys in Toronto had their Lunar New Year celebration.  Hong Kong's Steven Chow, Class '64 was there to enjoy their festivities and came back with some pictures of the overseas gang.

A store that sells new husbands has just opened in New York City where a woman may go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the store operates:

You may visit this store ONLY ONCE! There are six floors and the value of the product increases as the shopper ascends the flights. The shopper may choose any item from a particular floor, or may choose to go up to the next floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building!

Episode 1 - Husband Store
So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband. On the first floor the sign on the door reads: 

Floor 1 - These men Have Jobs.

Alex Fong, Class of '73 is the current CEO of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce.  He has spent 28 years in civic service and will share his personal insights on the progress and prospects regarding general commerce in Hong Kong.  Alex's topic for the evening will be: " Ten years on: half empty or half full?"

Kau Sai Chau South Course

Dinner at 6pm.

This year's eagerly-awaited tennis tournaments have been scheduled on February 4, 2007 for the singles and 11 February, 2007 for the doubles. The singles tournament will begin with early rounds starting in the morning at 9:00AM and doubles will begin on 11 February, 2007 at 9:00 AM. The winners will receive the respective President's Cup with their names engraved and on display at DBS. 1st and 2nd runners-up will also receive souvenir prizes.
